In a fun promotional vid for his new Marvel movie Doctor Strange, Benedict Cumberbatch introduces the world to its latest band of protectors – the Dog Avengers!

The line-up includes a canine Captain America, a Hulking hound and their newest team member – Dogtor Strange.

Cumberbatch is on great self-deprecating form in the short clip – quipping to his poochie pal: “I’m a classically trained actor!”

We’re not sure if this is setting up some unforeseen pet-based spin-off, but we will keep you posted if any further news pops up.
