Now that filming is underway for Sherlock series four’s second episode, it was recently revealed that acclaimed actor Toby Jones would be joining the cast as the episode’s villain. There are lots of ideas going around about who he could be playing, and now the actor himself has spoken a little bit more about his role and his opinions of the show.
Interviewed while promoting his new fantasy horror film Tale of Tales, Jones had this to say on the subject. Watch the video below…

“I’ve got a fantastic character to play. Obviously I really enjoy Sherlock, but it was really the character here. He’s so dreadful that it was too good an opportunity to turn down.”
With the series hopefully returning in January next year, we only have about half a year to wait until we get to know this “dreadful” character ourselves…
