It has been announced that there will be another Sherlocked Convention this year, following on from the successful first official Sherlock convention that occurred in 2015. It’s good news for fans both sides of the pond, as the convention will be in both the UK and the US.
The event, hosted by Massive Events in conjunction with Showmasters LTD and Hartswood Films, will take place in the ExCel Centre in London from 23-25 September. Already it has been announced that co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, producer Sue Vertue and The Abominable Bride herself, actress Natasha O’Keefe, will be in attendance.
In case you can’t guess from the picture, this convention will have a touch of the Victorian about it, in accordance with the setting of the recent special. It’s promised that sets from the episode will be on show for fans to visit.
Tickets are available to buy now from sherlocked.com
The dates and location of the US convention are yet to be revealed but are expected to be released later this month.
The first Sherlocked convention saw huge numbers of fans flock to London, to get the chance to meet the cast and crew for photo and autograph opportunities and ask them questions in the talks. It managed to secure such major guests as Benedict Cumberbatch and Andrew Scott, so here’s hoping for just as good a turn-out this time around.
